For society to come together as one, and rally together to deal with the crisis, it needs to be able to solve some "big challenges" once again, and so we need to set "big goals".

So, an "energy moonshot" is called for.

Just as John F Kennedy said "we are going to go to the moon in 10 years", we now need to say "we are going to cut our reliance on fossil fuels by 30% in 10 years".

When we start setting such big goals, people are going to stand up and say: "I believe in this. I want to be part of this".

That will be the start of the resolution of this crisis.

And it will set the stage for a new era of "sustainable capitalism" instead of "casino capitalism".
